Refund Policy 

At Staff Sergeant Reckless Company, we strive to deliver high-quality military and veteran t-shirts that honor your service and pride. However, due to the custom, made-to-order nature of our products, we have a strict returns and exchanges policy to ensure a smooth experience for both our customers and our small one-man fighting hole business. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

Our Products
All t-shirts are custom printed and shipped on demand. Each shirt is custom-made for you upon ordering, which means we keep minimal inventory on hand. This process allows us to offer a wide variety of designs but limits our ability to accept returns or exchanges for most reasons.

No Returns or Exchanges for the Following Reasons
To minimize unnecessary workload and costs, we do not accept returns or exchanges for the following reasons:

  • Change of Mind: We do not accept returns if you change your mind, decide you don’t like the design, or no longer want the item after ordering.

  • Sizing Issues: All t-shirts are made to standard US sizes, and a detailed sizing chart is provided on each product page. It is your responsibility to review the sizing chart and select the correct size. We do not accept returns or exchanges for ordering the wrong size.

  • Color Variations: Due to differences in computer monitors, lighting, and the printing process, slight color variations between the product image on our website and the actual t-shirt may occur. These variations are not considered defects, and we do not accept returns for this reason.

  • Minor Print Imperfections: Small imperfections in the print (e.g., slight misalignment, minor smudging) that do not significantly affect the overall design are not considered defects, as they are a normal part of the print-on-demand process. We do not accept returns for minor imperfections.

  • Shipping Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier (typically USPS), weather, holidays, customs processing (for international orders), or other factors beyond our control. We do not offer returns or exchanges due to delayed delivery.

  • Incorrect Address Provided: It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer, and we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges in these cases.

  • Non-Delivery Due to Customer Error: If a package is returned to as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, refusal to accept the package, or failure to pick up from a local post office, we will not issue a refund, return, or exchange. You will need to place a new order at your expense.

Limited Exceptions for Returns & Exchanges
We will accept returns or exchanges only in the following cases:

  • Damaged or Defective Items: If your t-shirt arrives damaged (e.g., torn, stained) or with a significant printing defect (e.g., large smudges, missing design elements), you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. You will need to provide photos of the damaged or defective item. If approved, we will work to provide a replacement at no additional cost to you. Refunds will only be issued if a replacement is not available.

  • Wrong Item Shipped: If you receive the wrong t-shirt (e.g., incorrect design, color, or size due to a fulfillment error), you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. You will need to provide photos of the incorrect item. If approved, we will provide a replacement at no additional cost to you.

Return & Exchange Process

  • To initiate a return or exchange for a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, email us at staffsergeantrecklesscompany@proton.me within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item.

  • If approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a fulfillment error (e.g., wrong item shipped).

  • Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will process a replacement (or refund if a replacement is not available). Please allow 5-10 business days for processing after the return is received.

  • For exchanges (e.g., replacing a defective item with the same design in a different size), we will ship the replacement once the original item is received, subject to availability. If the requested size or design is not available, we will issue a refund instead.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Customized or Personalized T-Shirts: T-shirts with customer-provided designs or text are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective due to a fulfillment error.

  • Sale or Discounted Items: Items purchased during a sale or with a discount code are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, except in cases of damage or fulfillment errors as outlined above.

Refunds

  • Refunds will only be issued in the following cases:

    • A replacement is not available for a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

    • An order is canceled before it is fulfilled (see Order Cancellations below).

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after the return is received and approved.

  • Shipping costs (both original and return shipping) are non-refundable unless the return is due to a fulfillment error.

Order Cancellations

  • Due to the print-on-demand nature of our products, orders cannot be canceled or modified once they have been submitted, as they are immediately sent for fulfillment. If you need to cancel an order due to an error on your part (e.g., wrong size or address), please contact us within 1 hour of placing your order, and we will do our best to assist. However, we cannot guarantee cancellation if production has already begun.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailability of products. In such cases, you will receive a full refund.

International Orders

  • For international orders, additional customs fees, import duties, or taxes may apply, depending on your country’s regulations. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not refundable. We do not accept returns or exchanges for international orders due to customs issues or customer errors (e.g., incorrect address, refusal to pay duties).
